Smart Gate Pass
Three intent-based types (Inward / Outward / Consumable) instead of five legacy ones. Guards register blind; the PO chain reconciles silently.
PartNexus is a custom-built ERP for manufacturers with multi-vendor subcontracting and multi-stage processing. Six modules instead of fifty. Native multi-hop. Mandatory quality gates. Real-time inventory across every vendor in your chain.
Most ERPs were designed for clean, linear manufacturing. Precision parts don't work that way. They ping-pong between vendors, get held for inspection, and route differently per part. PartNexus was built around that reality.
Three intent-based types (Inward / Outward / Consumable) instead of five legacy ones. Guards register blind; the PO chain reconciles silently.
Mandatory quality gate. Pending parts sit in Pending QIP — they can't be sold, moved or seen by sales until inspected.
One Work Order, any number of vendors, one PO chain. Virtual transfers move inventory vendor → vendor instantly.
In stock · Committed · Pending QIP · At vendor · Rejected. Real-time across every location. Color-coded reorder alerts.
Weight × material rate + treatment + labor. Active price locking on best supplier quote. Live margin warnings under 8%.
Zoho-style books built in. Parent-child entities, automatic GST, auto-drafted vendor bills on QIP pass.
Treatment, processing, manufacturing or assembly — pick the work order type and PartNexus models the rest. The PO chain stays intact across every vendor.

Incoming parts sit in Pending QIP. They can't be sold, can't be moved, can't even be seen by sales until they pass. Inspectors log measurements, photos and certificates — all linked to the PO and SO automatically.

Every batch lives in exactly one of five states at all times. Warehouse, vendor or supplier — the system always knows where it is, who owns it, and whether it's ready to move.

Every part defines its own route. Simple parts go through two vendors. Complex parts bounce back to the warehouse for inspection between stages. PartNexus models both flows natively.
Here's how PartNexus compares for a manufacturer with multi-vendor subcontracting and multi-stage processing.

| Screens for subcontracting | 50+ separate transactions | 10–15 (complex routes) | 6–8 optimized flows |
| Multi-hop subcontracting | Requires complex MRP config | No native support (workarounds) | Native & out-of-the-box |
| Quality enforcement | Optional & hard to set up | Separate module, poor integration | Mandatory gate-in QIP |
| Learning curve | Months of training | Weeks of training | Hours — intuitive UX |
| Vendor-to-vendor transfer | Fake inward/outward GPs | Manual adjustments | One-click virtual transfer |
