Production is the new staging.

We set up the boring infrastructure that lets the smart products run. AWS, CI/CD, observability, on-call. Treated as code that humans can read — not magic that one engineer maintains.

What we operate

Six practices that keep the system honest.

Most teams don't need a 'DevOps transformation.' They need someone to delete the manual steps and write down what the system actually does.

Cloud architecture

AWS-first, GCP where it fits. VPC, IAM, the unsexy parts done right so the sexy parts work.

CI/CD pipelines

GitHub Actions, GitLab CI. Five-minute deploys, blue/green by default, rollback in one click.

Infrastructure as code

Terraform or Pulumi. Your infra is in git, reviewed in PRs, and reproducible in any account.

Observability

Logs, metrics, traces. Datadog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry. You see what's happening before it breaks.

Incident response

On-call rotation setup, runbooks, postmortem templates. We'll set yours up — or be it, on rotation, for a quarter.

Cost optimization

AWS bills audited monthly. Reserved instances, right-sizing, dead resources hunted. 30–60% savings is typical.

How we work

Audit, automate, operate.

DevOps work isn't a one-off project. We start with a fixed audit, then move into ongoing operation.

01Week 1

Audit

Read the existing infra. Find the landmines. Deliverable: a prioritized list of what to fix first, in order of risk-to-cost ratio.

02Week 2–6

Automate

Codify what's manual. Containerize what's a snowflake. Wire up observability and alerts. Set up the on-call rotation.

03Ongoing

Operate

We can hand off, or stay on as your outsourced DevOps team. Most clients keep us on for at least the first 6 months post-audit.

Tools

Production-grade, not bleeding-edge.

Boring tools, used properly, beat exciting tools used badly. We pick from this list 95% of the time.

We're already on AWS — do we need to migrate?
Almost never. Most of our DevOps work is improving what you have, not lifting and shifting. Migration projects are big, risky, and usually unnecessary.
Usually yes — 30–60% on monthly bills is typical for teams that haven't done a real cost audit. We charge a fixed fee for the audit, then a percentage of savings if you want.
Three options: we set up your team's on-call rotation, we BE your on-call for a quarter, or both in shifts (we cover off-hours while your team learns). Pick what fits.
If you're already on GitHub: a working baseline pipeline in 1–3 days. Production-grade with blue/green, canary deploys, automated rollback: 2–3 weeks.
Docker yes, Kubernetes only if you actually need it. Most teams under 50 engineers don't. ECS Fargate handles 95% of the use cases without the operational tax.
Adjacent. We set up the infra controls (encryption, access logs, IAM policies) that a compliance audit will check. We don't write the policies or run the audits — but we work cleanly with the firms that do.
